Its during times like this that really shows the true meaning of community. As Brandon once again deals with issues due to rising water levels, and as residents continue to deal with flooded basements and yards, it always inspires us to see everyone pull together and support each other.

Riverside Lifestyle Estates is being constructed at 364 m above sea level. For comparison purposes, the highest water level as of last week (July 2 2020) was approx 358 meters above sea level and the earthen dike system on 1st street is constructed at the 360.88 level. The highest flood level ever recorded to date at the golf course was 361.70 m above sea level. In simple terms, Riverside is being built over 10 ft higher than the 1st street dike, or 7.5 ft higher than the record flood, or over 18 ft higher than the current high water levels as they were recorded on July 2 2020.
